I bought this book to support a colleague - so let me disclose that up front. Nonetheless, Virginia knows her stuff and has written it down in a manner that YOU can know what she knows when you finish the book.

This is not a "woo-woo" put-on-a-happy-face book, in case you're wondering. There are practical tips from the Positive Psychology tool-chest that will be useful if you are a helping professional who is new to the discipline, and a useful review if you're an old hand.

I'm a voracious reader, but for those of you who are NOT, you'll love the size of this book. Like I said in the title concise and to the point.
